Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all.

I currently live in Berkeley, California, but spent most of my life in Puerto Rico. Besides the Caribbean, I have never traveled outside of the U.S., so I decided this year that I would visit Japan. Ever since I was a little boy and learned about Japan – mostly due to video games and technology :) – I wanted to visit the country. So while I save up some cash for a month-long visit, I decided to take some Japanese classes. In the beginning, I just wanted to learn some basic phrases (so I don’t get lost or die of hunger because I can’t order food). But I started to love the language so much that I decided to take this very seriously and think long-term instead of just a handful of lessons that I’d most likely forget after my trip.

I’m super-excited to have access to Textfugu now. Hopefully it’ll be the thing that will push me from the “Conscious Incompetence” stage I’m currently at!
