Hello! I was working on the free lesson earlier today and, after a lot of encouragement and trial-and-error free methods elsewhere (and even attempting the Pimsleur method, yikes!), I figured that I would give this place a try. Well, I heard about Tofugu a few months ago and I just didn’t have the money, so I let it go thinking “well, I learned ひらがな and カタカナ on my own, so why can’t I finish up?’. Well, a lack of motivation, fun and whatnot just made it so irritating and I got disappointed to the point that, for the last few months, I had almost completely given up on learning 日本語 at all!

Well, now I’m here and feeling like, after experiencing “Season 1″ to its completion, I just know I can get some things done! I’m looking forward to learning a lot more, expanding on what my self-study has brought me here. I’m hoping to speak/work with some of you as we progress through the journey of culture-/language-discovery!
