Hello! My name is Adam and I’m really excited to be part of the Textfugu community! It seems like a great learning resource. I researched various other methods before finally deciding on this site because of it’s interesting take on teaching and appeal to self-learners.

Although I watch a little anime and enjoy the culture of Japan, the main reason I want to learn Japanese is because my girlfriend is from Japan. While she speaks english quite well, I would love to be able to converse with her family and her in their native tongue.

Hopefully Textfugu can help me accomplish my goal!
