こんにちわ みんなさん! You can call me Ushchan. I’m really happy to be subscribing to Textfugu, its something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
I am really excited to be finally learning Japanese the hard but ultimately more effective way. I want to become fluent in Japanese because after visiting Japan in 2009, I am totally fascinated/ obsessed with all things Japanese. I want to visit again, this time with my fiance and share the experience with him. I also have Japanese friends here who help me heaps with my spoken Japanese. Its a sort of language exchange, I help them with their English at the same time. I want to be able to speak with them entirely in Japanese one day!

So far my learning has been pretty patchy. I have a fair few textbooks but I find it hard to stay focused.Some are so dull and dense. Some are just confusing. I bought one that has audio files to accompany the exercises, which are on the book’s website. This would be fine except the authors had put the wrong sound file with each exercise.???? I am looking forward to learning Japanese in a more structured and simple way. And hopefully having more fun along the way! Matane!
