I downloaded some sentence anki deck from textfugu. The pronunciation audio silents the つ in ちかてつ. I goto Forvo.com and they pronounce the つ in ちかてつ: https://forvo.com/word/ちかてつ/

Which way is the correct way?

    Hello!

First, looks like your full name is showing. If you wanna change it, look here!

Second, I don’t recall hearing it without the つ sound. WaniKani and Jisho have the same audio for it, which pronounces the つ sound. I don’t know how to get the Anki audio to play, but I would assume the つ sound is correct.

This place is a wasteland :(

It’s not that the つ is silent, it’s that the -u sound is slighly suppressed – same as the one in です or ます.
