My name is Kevin from Boston and I’ve just signed up after completing season 1. I’ve actually been to Japan on business (and once on vacation) 2-4 times per year for the past 9 or 10 years, so I’ve developed enough “taxicab” or “sushi-ya” spoken Japanese, but don’t really know all of the grammar nor all of the Kanji for words that I already understand. Ideally I’ll be able to create and give a simple presentation in Japanese when I’m done with all this.
No anime/manga interest, but I did get to learn the Japanese names of a bunch of the 1st-generation Pokemon when I started traveling and my kids were smaller…
