はじめまして！ I’m Claire, i’m 24 and I live in Chicago, IL.

I’ve been signed up for a few months now but didn’t do much with my subscription. I’ve finally started to buckle down and get serious about learning Japanese. I’ve been taking a class here in Chicago once a week since September but I’ve been struggling in class lately and I figured I should come on here for some new learning techniques that might help me.

As for why i’m learning? One of my life’s goals is to live abroad. For most of my life i’ve been interested in Japan so I’ve decided to clear off a line on my bucket list by applying to teach english here. I want to do my best to learn as much about the culture as I can and I think language learning is one of the first step’s to do that.
