For the sentence せんせい の はず です, Are you saying ‘I expect he is a teacher’ or ‘He expects he is a teacher’? If you are saying ‘I expect’, then how do you say ‘He expects’?
Also, when using たら with a verb in ta-form, it translates to ‘If..’, so たべたら would mean ‘if you eat.’ But using the ta-form (which is past tense) with たら would make it a present tense ‘If’, so how would you use たら with a ta-form verb and having it be past tense? And how would you make the たら verb present negative and past negative? Is it the same when adding the -tai want form to たら?
