Hello, nice to meet you!

I’m a student currently residing in the Midwestern United States who originally hails from Anhui, China and has some lineage from Okinawa. I’m excited to be able to have access to such a community. I’m currently a student who busy studying Chinese and Japanese. I have been attempting to study Japanese  for quite a bit, but have never gotten quite serious until just recently. Proficiency wise, my proficiency in Japanese is at a higher intermediate level to a partially advanced level (I can read most short texts) and tutor a bit. Studying languages has always been a joy for me and being able to read literature of different countries has always been a passion, so my overall goal is to gain fluency in Japanese so that I may eventually be able to read more advanced texts (novels/magazines/recipes/manga/etc.). I would also love to get to that point where I can also use my language schools to help others through teaching/tutoring.
