    I’m currently searching for vocabularies for my passion, and I play Bass Guitar

    So I searched the dictionary for band, and it says both of the vocabularies in the title mean band; orchestra
    Google Images show about the same, some small bands, some orchestras
    Which word of these two, or maybe another one, do the Japanese use for modern Bands? (You know, Guitar, Bass, Drums, etc.)

    The word I went with in another thread was バンド, and I’m still gonna stick with that. I could always try pulling out an episode of K-on and listening to what they say…
