Lol Koichi hasn’t done one of these in almost a month.
Hey so missing, though you went all emo and swore never to come back or some sh!t.
Yeah but before I do the latter or something, maybe I’ll leave one lesson behind or something. Just one more. This will be based off my latest Lang-8 journal and it’ll be easy. The one I am putting here is the corrected version. If you want to see how it originally looked like before it got corrected, you can do so here: http://lang-8.com/123987/journals/1148284/

It is no use crying over spilt milk.好機逸すべからず。
This is a golden opportunity we’d be stupid to pass up.という感じかな。
「cocomomoさんからの返事:」
日本語上手ですね。間違っているところを直しましたので、見てみて下さい。
なお、日記内容についてですが、
私は告白することをおススメします!
「後悔、先に立たず」という日本のことわざがあります。
Regret will not mend matters.後で悔やんでも、遅いんですよ~☆
がんばってください☆--終わり--
1. What is the difference between できるだけ and なるべく? (You will have to do some self research for this aside from given answers.)
2. Share some grammar points that you learned.
3. Now choose 3 words that you learned. Define them and give all or any details about that word (adj-no, i adjective, JLPT lvl, adv, etc etc)
3. Other than to be inexplicably better than you bottom feeders, have you understood why else I wanted to hiatus myself for a long time?
No time limit, GO.
October 25, 2011 at 2:55 pm #19789It sounds like you don’t know her very well.
“It was nice meeting you. Let’s try to stay in touch! Here is my email address.”
Not one word more.

October 26, 2011 at 5:06 am #19804My only question about this is, what is “そいうえば”?
October 26, 2011 at 5:26 am #19805Please enlighten me on question 3.

I was guessing that was supposed to be そういえば, which I understand to mean something like “so anyway…”
> Please enlighten me on question 3.
The text talks about a certain exchange student he likes. My reading of it is that she is returning home soon, and he wants to confess his love for her, but he is worried his Japanese isn’t good enough, and besides that he is afraid of rejection. He asks for advice about what to do.
So to answer the question, perhaps he intends to spend all his time trying to win her heart, and has no time to waste on us poor fools.

Ah yes, of course, can’t believe I didn’t think of that. Thanks.
