    I’ve been looking through the kanji section and noticed this weird thing. I saw the kanji 門 which is 8 strokes in the seven stroke section and kanji of more than 10 strokes in the eight stroke section. I don’t understand why this is so can someone please explain.

    Mistakes I imagine. I’ve sent bounties for a few of these mistakes already.. I got a response for one of them saying that that particular kanji could be written with four or five strokes so they left it where it was. Sorry I forget which kanji it was, at the moment..

    It doesn’t surprise me a whole lot since they don’t focus on writing at all anyway. I bet people learning without knowing anything about strokes would never notice… Since they never learned that some strokes continue for two or more lines in a kanji…

    Thanks. I don’t think it really matters as long as kanji are being learned!

    I suspect the eight stroke section is more of an eight-and-up stroke section, but yeah, 門 should be in it.
