Hello everyone,

My name is David and I’ve been on Text Fugu for about a month now, but haven’t actually made my way over to the forums.  I’ve never had much interest in forums before, but I really need to get connected with other people who are studying, so  I figured it’s about time I introduce myself.

I’m actually not new to the language or Japan as I have been living in Japan for 6 years now (1 year in Kyushu and the rest in the Tokyo/Saitama/Yokohama area).  I stopped studying a couple of  years ago as I got into other stuff and just haven’t been back.  Text Fugu is a way for me to get back into the language and just get back into the routine.

Anyway, I teach English over here and in Tokyo and am really into film.  I look forward to building up my Japanese again and hopefully be able to speak more fluently with my in-laws.
