I am using ANKI on an iPod and for some reason today I cannot use the TextFugu decks as I always get the error message
“Unable to open deck:Result of expression ‘r’ [null] is not an object”
I have googled this but I haven’t been able to find an answer that I understand. Is there someone who perhaps has been able to fix this problem and will be kind enough to explain it in English not tech.
Just for info I have tried importing the compressed folders and the .anki file alone. This is the first time that this has happened and it occurred when I deleted all my old anki decks and tried to replace them with new ones.
Please help.

My attempt at a solution would be to re-install Anki (if you haven’t already). Also, try redownloading the decks too, if they aren’t homemade ones.
On an unrelated note, it’s 「おねがいします」:P
Thank you for the advice. I was the TextFugu decks that didn’t and it was like midnight here when I typed that message and it’d been a long day. Although living in Japan you think I’d have caught on.
Thank you again and I’ll let you know if removing and reinstalling Ankimobile from my device works
I tried what you suggested to no avail. However this morning I had a brain wave and I loaded the deck into my computer ANKI and then did a few cards before loading it onto my iPod. Talk about feeling like an idiot.
This opens the cards with just the pictures. It won’t load the audio sadly. However this better than nothing.
Did you ever figure this problem out? I’m trying to use anki on my ipod and i cant get any audio?
