I can be a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my computer (even though my desk is messy :P).

So I was wondering if we can change the file names in Anki without it messing up all the imported decks and audio, etc.

And if so, how do I go about doing it so I don’t mess things up?

Koichi-sama is really bad with his file naming conventions, I’d like to make them more consistent. ^_^

I’d say you can just file rename, make a new deck and import the newly named file.

Would I also have to rename the audio files/folders as well, to get them to stay in sync?

No I doubt it, they are linked relative to file location, not naming conventions.

If in doubt just ctr+c the Anki file and make changes to the backup, If it works you can start using that, if it doesn’t the original file is still there.
