Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I’m having with Anki. Whenever I try to import a deck it says “import failed, file currently in use”. I tried closing and restarting everything and making sure the file wasn’t open anywhere else and also looked online but couldn’t find anything…if anyone had any ideas that would be great!
Are you importing into a deck you’ve already created? Or are you going to File—>Import (with no decks open) and creating a new deck?
It might sound silly, but make sure you aren’t importing a deck into itself (I’m not sure if this happens if the decks are the same name as well) as that causes a “file in use” error.
Other than that I’m not sure.
