So, my computer went kaput not too long ago and I had to reset it back to freshly installed in order for it too work. I backed up all of my Anki stuff to Anki web before I did so that I can get right on back to studying without any repercussions. So, once I had reinstalled Anki and Dropbox, I downloaded all of my saved decks from Anki web and now I have all of my decks back where they’re supposed to be. The only problem is that when I get into the decks there are no sound clips to be heard of on a card. I have no idea why it isn’t working or why the sound files are missing since I backed up everything and re installed dropbox.
Anybody know what I can do to get the sound clips back?Give this a read,

For some odd reason, Anki thought that the dropbox location was in My Dropbox in My Documents instead of Dropbox under (My Name). So I had to reconfigure where Anki thought dropbox was. Also, for some weird reason whenever I re-downloaded one of my decks, Anki would then automatically think (again) that My Dropbox was the place where the media was.
So… this is going to be a pain having to reconfigure everything for the next couple of hours.
