So I got all of Season 1 and Season 2 decks and I am trying to get the media from them so I can listen to Koichi’s lovely voice. I have two problems though with the media. This is for AnkiMobile I might add. I have no problems with the Desktop version, just with the $25 app one (I think $17.50 right now).
1) When I use AnkiWeb and and try to add them, I get the “Missing Media” error. For example, I am trying to download the media for Kanji and it starts out (601 media left….) and then the error pops up saying. “You have a media URL set, but I wasn’t able to download: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/35924555/Anki/Kanji%20Vocab%201-1.media/27-hiroi.mp3 I’ve gotten the same error with a different mp3 too. Please help!
2) When I tried using Anki adding decks with iTunes, I pretty much added the .zip files to the App section on my iPhone, but I got a unexpected null ‘r’ something something error.
Any help I would appereciate!
Ok… so I semi-fixed the problem, but in itself is another problem. Whenever I go to the Desktop version of Anki, I have to click on “Download Missing Media” under Tools -> Advanced -> Download Missing Media. When I do this, there is about 590+ media I have to download for each Kanji deck. Before, it was like 10 media to download, but now it is 590 :(. Not sure if there is a way to fix this. It takes a long time too to sync it up on my AnkiMobile app as well (about 4 minutes of syncing per deck). Not a big deal, but I figured I would point this out.
