Hello all!
My name is Christina, and I’m from Montana in the US. As of today, I just turned 24! I’m very excited to see what this new year will bring for me.
This year for my birthday I did something I rarely do, and I decided to get something for myself that would be beneficial, enriching, hard work, yet fun… and I’ve had plans to find a way to work abroad in Japan within the next year or two. By investing in TextFugu, I believe I’m one step closer to my goals. (Yay me!)
Reading some of these forum posts, I’m already very excited and inspired by you all and the dreams you wish to achieve. It’s very encouraging to not only know, but also see for myself, that I’m not in this language-learning process alone. I’ve barely started to learn the basics of Japanese, but I’m looking forward to keeping my motivation strong.
I also hope to learn some things from you all as well. Please take care of me, and it’s very nice to ‘meet’ you all!

My first studies of Japanese started with Textfugu. It built my foundation and now I’ve been studying for around 2 years.
I now use of variety of resources, but everything for me started here. : DIf you have any questions feel free to ask.
