    Is it ever pronounced–like, ever? I’ve read in several places on the net that some people do fully vocalize the ウ sound in those ーす words in some dialects of Japanese, although it’s not typical. Thanks!

    I was under the impression that it is the speaker’s personal preference. That it doesn’t really matter one way or another… not sure how accurate that is though >.>

    I’ve heard native speaker pronounce it more than a few times

    I think it’s more pronounced by people who are speaking more ‘properly’ or ‘officially’ and less casual. I’ve also heard it pronounced in music :-P I could totally be wrong though..
