I am very frustrated and very, very confused right now.

I have 3 ultimate decks in anki – nouns, verbs and adjectives. Within each, there are several groups that can be activated/deactivated. Until now, at the end of a lesson, I would be told to activate certain groups to add new words.

Suddenly, it seems, Koichi has decided on a totally new way of doing it while I’m in the middle of things. Now, instead, there are a whole lot of smaller decks. I currently have no idea which groups I should add and when/if I should start downloading these new ultimate decks.

Am I simply going nuts or have I been trapped in Koichi’s editing? Any advice on what I should do?

    Thanks.

Yah, if you check out the dashboard, he’s just done an update of all the decks. You either stick with what you’ve got and add bits on a regular basis, or start over with the new ones, I suppose.

Thank you, Joel. I hadn’t seen the dashboard. As long as the decks I have have simply been split, as in I’m not missing any words, I’ll just add new groups every once in a while. My biggest concern was that I would be missing out on cards.

Either: email Koichi about it, ask his advice OR just go through the lists at your own pace, like I did :P Back when he first made the “ultimate” decks, he was revising the old Season 2 (or was it 3) chapters at a snail’s pace, so no way was I waiting for his instructions on which words to learn and when XD

For me it seems, that the kanju decks from 5-stroke-kanji section include all kanji from all the other sections before. or am i wrong? its very confusing for me too.
