Hi,
I’m a little confused by the way the girl is pronouncing the kanji with “七人 じゃありません”
七人 sounds like “shchinin” when it should be nanari? thats the way it is pronounced with the kanji 二人 and 一人…. I cant make it out, that’s why I have to ask. It might even sound like she’s leaving out the vowels in 七 but she doesn’t even mention 人…

In anki its pronounced しちにん … i dont understand, how did the “にん” get in there?

It’s a 100% reasonable question – given the order in which Koichi has chosen to introduce kanji. Namely, he introduces 一, 二 and 人 separately, then promptly tacks them together and slugs you with all of the unique exceptions in one go, so when you hit the ones that aren’t exceptions, you get caught by surprise.
I apologize I’ve searched Google for the answer but nothing showed up and not realizing this forum had a search option I made a thread because I didn’t see the japanese lessons help forum. I understand my mistake and will keep that in mind for future use. I was beat from work so i think hat’s why I overlooked things.

No no no, don’t feel bad XD There *isn’t* a search feature here, so you have to specifically know the trick of searching Google like that :D I only did it to show that since so many people have asked before that there must be a problem with the material in the textbook. It’s definitely a confusing issue, so you were right to ask about it. If you become a regular visitor of these forums, see if you can spot how many times people ask about it (and how many times they ask about on- and kun-yomi in general) ;)
Actually, we’re having a bit of a lull in the on/kun’yomi questions at the moment…

WaniKani takes care of Kanji pronunciation quite nicely. This may be why there is a lull. (Perhaps to never return?)
