    In the lesson itself I didn’t find any real info on this.
    So, is that “want” a more forceful or a more asking one?

    In other words, should I think of “I really want X!” or “I’d like to have X.” when translating? Or is there no difference at all and the situation is always the key?^^

    ほしい = want an object
    ~たい = want to verb
