I looked them up on good ol jisho.org and going though the sentences, it looks like 夕べ is usually translated as “last night” and 夕 is just “evening” (or used in jukugo).
However it looks like you can also pronounce 夕 as ゆうべ even without the hiragana present, so who knows what that means lol.
