Hey guys. There’s one thing that I’ve been wondering. at the moment, I’m on season 4 of Textfugu, and learned a lot of Vocabulary. Of course, I learned a lot of sentences (since TEXTFUGU has anki sentences as well)

My question is does Koichi ever has a lesson where he focuses on sentence practice solely. I’m starting to realize that there are some words that I just wouldn’t know how to correctly use in a sentence. Along with that, I feel like there’s not too many ANKI sentences that implements the recently learned kanji. Will I end up seeing it applied more as I continue through textfugu?

If not, how do you guys practice using the kanji vocabulary learned? It would be helpful if that resources uses mostly kanji that I already know (I’m on season 4)

It’s nice to see someone at the same general spot I am. I just started all 66 adjectives, but I’m trying to take it slow after learning all 51 verbs at the end of Season 3.

I can’t give you the TextFugu-specific answer, but I can at least provide some help. First of all, avoid Google Translate. Second, consider the example sentences at Jisho.org.

Throw the word into the Jisho.org search and select the “Sentences” link under the desired definition. What’s nice about it is that you can select any portion of the sample sentence to define it. (The example sentences use Kanji, and, if you’re at Season 4, TextFugu has only taught you around 50 of them.)

    I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot bud! I will give the Jisho sentences a look.
Oh wow. I just checked it out. extremely helpful. There are a numerous amount of sentences used to give it example. I also know enough grammar to figure out how the other words are used. Thanks a lot. I can also someone using this method to learn the new kanji seen in those sentences. Again, thx, Elliot.

Also, if anyone else has any other resources/info, please feel free to share.

Tofugu’s 4500 Sentences pack? It costs money, though…
