What goes on in Japan in Easter? Anything for it, nothing? Is it celebrated, if so how?

I was thinking that it may get passed over for events for Spring, cherry blossoms etc.

As Easter is a Christian holiday, it’s acknowledged by the Japanese but they don’t celebrate it. It’s the same deal with Christmas. There’s no public holiday for either day. Westeners living in Japan probably celebrate it though.

I think by celebrate most westerners actually mean “hey an excuse to eat chocolate”

I am actually here in Japan right now during Easter and the only place that has anything Easter related is Tokyo Disneyland, but other than that Japan doesn’t celebrate Easter.
