    So, I was recently told that if you’re foreign and working for a Japanese company (say Nintendo or capcom, since I would like to work for a gaming company and am hoping that my learning Japanese might be useful in this) they actually prefer that you don’t speak Japanese because of a superiority complex. I just want to ask – is this actually true?

    Also, how could knowing Japanese help with getting into game design as a career? So far, all I’ve potentially thought of is localisation of games.
