So Obon holiday is soon approaching and I was wondering who has plans and what they might be!
I will be going to Okinawa for the first time for 5 days starting this Sunday! I am so excited and can’t wait!

They are famous in Okinawa. Hard to find in other areas of Japan. They are kind of like Ikura (salmon eggs) Similar texture and saltiness.

This was SO soft and tender. Unbelievable… Also served with an onsen-tamago 温泉卵. It is a poached egg, but named after onsen (or hot spring)
