Not sure if this will help anybody or how well known it is, but I thought I’d share a place I found a while back to learn new words/sentences. I don’t actually use the place for their flashcard system, but I found it to be really nice to learn things based on my level (which you can choose what level of words/sentences you want to see from basic, intermediate, to advanced).
There’s even an option where they will send to your e-mail a new sentence every day… the difficulty of the sentence is based on your level. I found this really helpful to get my day “started” with Japanese; it’s actually become a habit. :]
Also, if you want, you can even subscribe to them (like, 4 bucks a month I think?) to get audio files for the words/sentences you come across. And ahh… there’s much more that I haven’t really looked into, so if you’re interested, I really recommend because it’s extremely beginner friendly (even if you don’t know a lot of Kanji, it displays the Hiragana and even Katakana for words).
