Google+ is the newest social network project from Google.
What say we try to create a TextFugu circle over there as well?
I just joined Google+ myself and when it’s still on invites only, there is a nice system of “circles” going on where you can put different groups. One if for friends, one is family, another acquaintance, a twitter like one which is following and you can create new ones as well.
I just created one circle called – drumroll
TextFugu!
What do you say, we make that happen and try to get TextFugu members on this Google+ so we can all share and use this social network platform? The privacy and sharing settings are quite interesting if you want to know.
If you guys want to try it out for yourself first and get the hang of it, drop me an email at: stephanrobertmarin@googlemail.com so I can send you an invite.
Cheers

There's always money in the banana stand!July 15, 2011 at 10:36 am #14161When I first heard about it, I thought it was a horrible idea, but I suppose I could give it a go for my textfugu buddies.
July 15, 2011 at 12:40 pm #14162Is it not just as possible to create a Facebook group for Textfugu users? Might be a lot easier since everyone has Facebook and no one has Google+ (slight exaggeration :P).
July 15, 2011 at 7:31 pm #14173Sounds interesting. Havokmoobii@Gmail.com
July 15, 2011 at 10:03 pm #14174@MisterM2402 Yes and no, because when you get to see it. Google+ if it’s still in its early stages, the system they have so you can share with different communities is quite nice.
And the idea I had was about starting something new and fresh I’d say. On a totally new ground. But eh? there’s no obligation it’s an open invitation to those who’d like to slowly wet their feet in this new social project and maybe get to gather as TextFugu followers :)
@Jason Just sent your invite!
There's always money in the banana stand!July 15, 2011 at 11:17 pm #14176Have you created a circle yet? I could not find it =/…
July 15, 2011 at 11:24 pm #14177@Ken I did. On my profile I’ve got the TextFugu circle with two people in it (that i invited), I’m also new to Google +, maybe you have to find the person first, then the circle. Give it a try??
There's always money in the banana stand!July 15, 2011 at 11:33 pm #14178I couldn’t find you :(. Could you try finding me, (Ken Toshirou)=/
July 15, 2011 at 11:39 pm #14180Found you!! I guess I should have a look at my profile visibility :)
There's always money in the banana stand!July 16, 2011 at 5:57 am #14187I was actually just about to type: “Meh, I’ll bite.”. Went to sign up and apparently they’ve “temporarily exceeded [their] capacity”.
On another note, when you talk about “circles”, my mind goes straight to the “Circles of Hell” XD
July 16, 2011 at 6:09 am #14188That’s why it’s on invite only at the moment. if you want one let me know, so you can see what the “hell” is this circle business for yourself!! ;)

There's always money in the banana stand!July 16, 2011 at 8:35 am #14194From what I can see circles are just a way to group your friends, not an actual public group. I could be wrong, but thats kinda what it looks like :/
July 16, 2011 at 12:14 pm #14202Yes Jason! it is quite fuzzy with me as well but I’ve been hovering around the network today, it could be that but you can always see posts or others stuff people share only on a particular group, though. Google+ is still growing as it is of now, and that’s where we should give some feedback.
Time will tell…There's always money in the banana stand!July 17, 2011 at 7:34 pm #14222Anyone who knows a lot of Japanese people on facebook, or speaks a lot of japanese on facebook with know how good this is.
I’ve had people already tell me posting nothing but foreign languages to people who can’t read it is annoying lol, so now I can setup a circle of people who I want to see Japanese and those who dont.
July 20, 2011 at 1:02 pm #14310I want to get down with this shizz but I don’t have a Gmail account and I really can’t be bothered with creating one.
