みなさん、おはようございます！

Good morning everyone, my name is Raion (ライオン). I am new to Textfugu and am hopeful it will be a great resource to not only resume studying 日本語, but to be able to interact with other self-learners. I took three semesters of Japanese language while in University but took a break due to other obligations. Attaining fluency in Japanese language has always been a goal for me for several reasons:

I want to travel to Japan and eventually live there, at least for a time.

I want to study to become a Japanese blade smith.

I want to study traditional Japanese martial arts in Japan.

I want to travel to Shikoku and walk the 88 temples (Ok… so I borrowed this from season 1, but it does sound like an amazing experience)

I want to be able to converse/read/write Japanese as well as I can my native English.

I look forward to getting to know others as well all continue learning! Let’s all do our best!
