Hi everyone,

Figured I might as well say hello as I most likely will be spending quite some time both on the main site and the forum, desperately trying to wrap my head around this new language. Recently found out about WaniKani and textfugu and today I made the commitment by subscribing to both services after working through the free parts. Really enjoying the style of both of them btw!

Japanese will be my fourth language (adding to Swedish, Finnish and English) and I hope that my prior language studies will benefit more than hinder me. This will also be the first language I attempt to learn entirely through self studies, which will be quite the challenge in itself.

I also assume that it will be fine (perhaps even beneficial) to skip all Anki/Kanji parts on textfugu in favor of WaniKani?
