Hello everyone!

My name is Jonathan, and I’m a 31 year old father of three. I’ve been trying to motivate myself to learn Japanese for years now, even taking a class during my Undergrad years. I’m hoping that with self-study, I can finally keep myself going long enough to at least learn well enough to keep learning on my own. I love all the typical things Americans do about Japanese: Manga, Anime, etc… But I also love Japanese history and culture. As a hobby, I want to play some of my favorite video games in their original languages. I just bought a few classic RPG’s for Super Famicom that I can’t wait to work through. I look forward to going through this journey with some of you, and will be looking to others for guidance and help I’m sure!
