    Hello to everyone on Textfugu,

My name is Patrick, I’m a student and I study IT Infrastructure. I’m a BIG anime fan for as long as I can remember and I love JRPG games. But most JRPG games are never being translated and I was always too lazy to learn Japanese. I decided that I must push that laziness out of the window and start to learn Japanese.

It was around December of 2013 that I started to learn Japanese. I’ve been to Japan before and made some friends there, they were happy that I made that decision and told me to start with Hiragana and Katakana so that is what I did. But what now? I know all the Hiragana and Katakana characters but don’t know what to do next. I searched the internet for clues on what to do and I knew that I had to start with Kanji soon but the thought of that was really intimidating. After sometime searching I found Textfugu and did season 1, I knew almost everything in season 1 but the way everything was explained made me more and more curious about what is to come next.

So I decided to join Textfugu to help me in hopefully simplifying Kanji if only for a bit :P

I’m really looking forward in speaking Japanese with my Japanese friends :D

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope this community helps each other out.
If I can help you in anyway let me know and I will do my best!

    Jya-ne,
    From Patrick
