    Hello everyone,

My name is Nadine and I am 40 years old. I love everything about Japan and I was already 2 times there. My most interests are japanese food, japanese craftworks and the japanese culture. I’m also fascinated about Kanji, but unfortunately I couldn’t get very far.

I have made 3 years of japanese evening class, but I almost forgot everything about it, just the Hiragana, Katakana and some of the Kanji I remembered, but all the vocabs I knew were gone :(
I tried many time since then to reenter japanese learning, but I don’t took long. Mostly because I changed interests or I had no opportunity to practice with someone.
I ever thought, that I’m not talented for languages, even if I can speak german, french and english beside my mother language luxembourgish, but those I had to learn in school. And my english is not the best, hope I don’t write to many mistakes ;-)

I am really happy that I found this side for learning. I think I really can reach my goals here.
I loved to able to read my japanese crafting and cooking books. For the moment I only can suppose the way I have to do things shown in the books.
To be able to speak with japanese peoples on my next journey or read some kanji there would also be really cool.

    Greetings from Luxembourg,
    Nadine

Bonjour et bienvenue, hallo und willkommen, hello and welcome, Nadine!
Ma connaissance du français s’arrête ici.
    Deutsch, zu ;)

Wow… that was all hard to remember. I’m sooo out of practise.

Anyway, I hope you’re able to stick with it this time! If you ever need to feel pumped about your talent for language, just check out Benny Lewis on youtube. He’ll make you feel better. And if you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask! Somebody here has the answer. And don’t worry about your English, it’s perfectly understandable :)

Good luck! /Bonne chance! /Viel glück!

Hey, you could speak a bit in other languages :)

For me it’s a bit the same. German was never en problem to me, but I don’t like french and all the official documents here in Luxembourg are mostly written in french :S An I don’t got that much possibilities to speak english. TextFugu will help to learn Japanese, but also is a refreshment for my english XD

I just had a quick peek on Benny Lewis Channel, looks interesting and very funny. At least the video I saw.
I really will try to keep up with the Japanese learning. I think this site an forum is the best possibility to support it.

    Have a nice day.
