Hi Everyone!

My name is Anna I have been dabbling in Japanese since 2005 and wanted to take my interest to the next level so I joined as a Textfugu lifetime member last October. Unfortunately life happened and I’m just starting chapter 2 (again) but I am really motivated to give it another go!

My reasons for learning Japanese are:

I want my trip to Japan to go as smooth as possible (Japan 2014- woot!)
It increases my marketability (second languages for the win!)
I’d like to blog bilingually to reach a larger audience

My biggest challenge has been to stay self-motivated. The long gaps between my study sessions really void out a lot of my study efforts and having to relearn the kana over and over gets rather depressing. :\ But my sisters and I are going to start studying together soon so that we all can stay motivated. :)
