As the post title implies I’m from Michigan, and for those wondering yes we do regularly point to our hands to show where we’re from. Anyways back to the point of this post. I’ve wanted to learn Japanese for close to a year now, tried it out last fall but was stupid with it and tried to do my own thing instead of having a defined path. Not shockingly I failed, pretty fast. But that was then and this is now! I the book Remembering the Kana and was able to learn Hiragana and Katakana fairly well, then I saw textfugu was on sale and I had recently gotten $50 from doing some work on a computer for my Dad’s church. I took this as a sign that now was the time. So here I am, at the end of season one, having fun, and learning lots. Hopefully that continues.

I got the book Remembering the Kana. Noticed I forgot to put the word “got” as I hit the submit button.
