Hey fellow cool online learning people!
I am so excited that I just received a lifetime membership to Textfugu for Christmas and can’t wait to start learning! I am planning on traveling to Japan in 2017 and hope to be able to understand some of the signs and get around fairly well! I also just love Japanese entertainment in general. Happy to be here :)

Well Tokyo for sure, Kyoto, and Tochigi looks cool! Got any suggestions? I’m planning on asking some of my friends who have studied in Japan for theirs!
Alanna TicaliOh, I’ve got a huge list of places I want to go if I ever get the chance to visit Japan again. For starters, though, Nara, Koya-san, Matsumoto, Himeji (those last two for the castles), Onomichi and Miyajima (near Hiroshima) are certainly worth the trip.
As far as places to visit, I have always wanted to go to Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has the beautiful Gassho houses!
