    Hi!

You may call me Frank, or koala, or captainkoala, or something like that.

I am a 24 year old student from Norway, currently studying in the UiO (University of Oslo). I’m a musician, playing the electric guitar (pop/rock/jazz), and I just started my first year on a 2-year master’s degree in Musicology, which is a lot of fun!

I’ve always been fascinated by the japanese people, as I have gotten small glimpses of Japan through Nintendo and Playstation games, as well as some comics and movies. I have also always enjoyed the sound of the language itself, and thinking I might one day try to learn it.

I’ve just started on my japanese, and as a performing musician, I know all about taking my time and practising. I hope I can do the same with my language learning.
I spent the last two days learning the Hiragana. Next stop: Katakana!

Looking forward to connect and learn with all you others (hopefully)!

    See you around.
よろしく おねがいします! (Hope I spelled that out correctly!)

    –Frank.

Thanks! Not many Koalas in Norway, I’m afraid. But they are on youtube!
