    Hi guys,

    I need some help.

Im at http://www.textfugu.com/season-4/go-do/8-7/ and at the end it says:

By finishing this page, you should know how to do both “come do” and “go do” grammar, expanding the way you can use verbs just a little bit more. You should also have learned the “Group01″ verbs in your Anki list by now as well (so do that before moving on if you aren’t quite there yet), making you ready for the next chapter!

What exactly is group01? I never read i should import that in to my Anki Deck or where to download it.

    Thank you!

Looks like that might be a holdover from an older version of the page – Koichi now teaches verb groups later on, when he introduces causal verbs:

    http://www.textfugu.com/season-5/dict-verbs/3-2/#top

(Honestly, I’ve never liked calling them “group 1″ and “group 2″ because I can never remember which group is supposed to be which. I learnt them as う-verbs and る-verbs, respectively, and in Japanese they’re called 五段 (ごだん) and 一段 (いちだん) respectively.)

    Thanks for your reply.

So i can just ignore it for now?

So long as you’re actually learning the verbs, it’s ok to not pay attention to what group they’re in just yet.

in Japanese they’re called 五段 (ごだん) and 一段 (いちだん)

Is 五段 う-verbs and 一段 る-verbs?
