I can’t believe it’s actually happening…when I started with Textfugu I had strong hopes that I’d be heading to Japan with my family within a few months. About 3 weeks ago I got the offer I’d been hoping for and we are leaving Germany (where we are now) on January 14th!!! Anyway, just thought I’d let folks know. I plan to continue doing RTK until I’m settled and then will start adding Textfugu lessons back in gradually. For anyone interested, I’m hoping we’ll actually start keeping up our blog again (http://jkcadd.blogspot.com) now that we have something to be excited about (Germany…not so much).
Our christmas guests (family) leave on the 4th, so we are kind of in limbo until then. We need to get rid of everything and be ready to leave in less than 2 weeks! Crazy…
Wow congrats!! That sure isn’t very much time before you leave eh?! :)
Please do try to keep up with your blog. I always love reading and looking at others’ experiences to a place I too hope to go to in the near future.
Where abouts in Japan will you be?

how long are you staying there?
and are you going to be posting pictures on your blog?I don’t know how long we’ll end up there. If we really like it, hopefully a long time (maybe even settle there…wow…that’s a concept!). Yes, we plan to post pictures (there are lots up there from previous trips around the middle east). Right now we are still in the moving phase, so no pictures yet. We leave in about a week, so hopefully soon!
