Hi all! I am a long-time Japanese learner who is trying this year to actually take my studying seriously and actually get somewhere. I love the idea of TextFugu so I really hope it helps!

I am 29 from North Wales, currently living in England and plan to go to Japan in a couple of years. I am a devote Shinto worshipper and enshrine the kami Inari in my home. My main reason for learning Japanese is so that I can visit Fushimi Inari in Fushimi, Kyoto and speak with the shrine staff in order to gain a better understanding of the kami.

I also wish to make more resources available in English online about Shinto, and so would like to become a translator. Currently I work on artwork from home so I feel this could be something to do in my spare time.
