Hi! I’m Ish from United States. English is my second language but I didn’t really have to work hard to study the English language because it is already deeply embedded into Filipino culture. Japanese is the first language I will be learning willingly. I am so excited to see how that goes.

Now, Koichi’s questions at the start of season one. I want to learn Japanese for many reasons but the main ones are:

- want to read genuine Japanese manga and watch anime without the subtitles.
- I love how Hiragana and Kanji look like. They look so classy and beautiful, and I like handwritten journals and I want to write that way.
- I admire the Japanese education, manners, and discipline.

That’s it :D I have yet to find out more but I am very much ready to love Japanese culture and language more through my TextFugu journey.
