Hi!

My name is Jun, and I’m new here :). Why do I want to learn japanese? I discovered manga and anime a few years ago, but I was never really interested in learning the language. Until I discovered that there are lots of awesome games in japan but never get localized, so I decided to learn the language to be able to play the games (that’s kinda stupid, I know xD), and also It might be fun to read raw manga and watch anime without sub. My school actually has a japanese class, but I’d have to choose between japanese class or english class, I chose english class (because I already know the language). My friend chose to take the japanese class and It’s been a year and he’s getting really good with it, I’m kinda jealous haha. Maybe that’s another reason that I want to learn the language. I knew about textfugu from tofugu, I actually tried to learn japanese before from another source, but I failed. I can’t even remember hiragana. so I tried memorizing hiragana and katakana from tofugu and It worked!. It’s awesome, and since this site is recommended by Tofugu, I decided to try it. the first season was awesome too! I’m looking forward to learn more here.

Anyway, I’m half korean and I should probably learn korean too, but I’m more interested in japanese, idk xD. Sorry for the long introduction, Thanks :).
