Nice to meet you all!

I’ve been trying to learn Japanese for a very long time now; for about four years I was doing some independent study that didn’t really go very far, and then I started taking Japanese classes in college. I’m about to take my third class, but unfortunately that is the extent of my capabilities for college study. I’ve stayed motivated to know more for these lovely five years now, so I plan to keep going as long as it takes! My motivation began in watching anime and reading manga (as desire for knowledge of the Japanese language usually begins), and it sort of grew into interest in the culture and mindset. I hope to join the JET Program someday, though it may be a far off wish because of my current plans. Anyway, 初めまして、どうぞよろしく！
