I’m actually restarting my journey with Japanese. I began learning in 2015 but gave up about a year in for various reasons (mostly school, and then work, and then school AND work) but now with this coronavirus thing happening, I have a lot of free time on my hands. This is something I have had in the back of my mind since I initially quit.
My reasons for restarting my journey with Japanese are:
1. To get a greater understanding of Japanese culture and the Japanese mind-set.
2. To help with my future career.
3. I think it’s a bautiful language.
4 Finally, to understand all those little words that show up in anime (although this is NOT a priority)Yeah, so that’s basically it :)
Best of luck with it Luke! I’m currently starting Season 2 so I’m excited to keep the journey going. What anime do you like?
