Greetings. I recently decided to try out TextFugu for my Japanese learning needs. I have liked many Japanese things for a while and I find a lot of stuff about Japan fascinating.

I have been trying to teach myself Japanese for the last 2-3 years (on and off). I have definitely found some struggle in self-teaching. I tried learning grammar but was overwhelmed with all the vocabulary being thrown at me. I then decided to focus on just vocabulary for a while but have found vocabulary alone only gets me so far. TextFugu seems to be a great mix of vocabulary and grammar. I feel TextFugu does a good job of making sure I know the necessary vocabulary before using it to learn grammar.
