    Hello, I’m Neil from South Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, my reason for wanting learn Japanese is to be able to read untranslated manga and watch anime without having to rely on subtitles.

    I’ve never tried to learn a language before other than French back in school which I was never interested in.

    I found TextFugu a couple of weeks ago and have just started season 2.

    Welcome! I always get a kick out of recognizing a few words in an anime. Listening is a difficult skill to acquire (for me) but I’m working on it.
