I am new and have been trying to learn Japanese for years; First in High school, then in College. I did most of the first chapter here and really enjoyed it! I decided to take the plunge and I am afraid you will have to put up with me for a while.

I am breezing through season 1 so far.
Out of curiosity; how long has it taken to get through season 8?
I am in no hurry, just interested.
I actually haven’t finished it yet. Though this is the second time going through for me. As I started about a year ago, then stopped for months part way through, now I’ve restarted from scratch.
I’m actually focusing more on WaniKani atm which is Koichi’s Kanji site that he created after this one. So I’m not really a good judge on how long it takes as I’m not full focused on it atm. And I keep doing side projects here, like in the links to help others out, which takes away from the time I would have been working on TF.
Season 4 is when it starts to get a bit heavy.
