    Hi everyone,

I am Christine from Australia. I’ve been using Textfugu for about 3 weeks now so I thought I should say hello on the forums. I’m just about up to season 5 now. Basically I want to learn Japanese because I love manga, and there are heaps of manga I want to collect and read that haven’t been released in English. Some prime examples are Major, Big Windup, H2, Zetman, Zettai Karen Children, Chihayafuru, Kuragehime, Beelzebub, and Kyou Kara Ore Wa. I’m also using WaniKani to learn kanji, which is awesome so far. Other than that, I’ve ordered the first Genki textbook and workbook so that should also help.

    Thanks for reading :-)

    Thanks for your welcome :-D

I have been working very hard with my Japanese studies. I hope I can remember everything I’ve learnt. Practice, practice, practice.

Made my first journal entry on Lang-8 yesterday so that was nervewracking, lol.

    Also, thanks for the links~

Yeah Lang-8 can be daunting at first, but you quickly get used to it.

It helps you feel more comfortable with it if you check a few posts made in English for non-native English speakers.

That way you get a view from both perspectives.
